Setting goals is important. I have a long term goal but have also made some short term goals to keep me on track and give me the ability to celebrate the small successes along the way. I helps to focus on the now and each goal achieved is a reward in itself. I am trying to keep a diary to look at what has gone well and maybe not so well each day. I am also trying to work on my all or nothing mentality to ensure one less healthy choice does not sabotage the day. First goal is to go and stay below 70kg and I am happy to say I am a step closer after day 2 than I was on day 1.
